High on the success of the period actioner Gadar -- Ek Prem Katha, Sunny Deol now choses to lie low in an important cameo as the charismatic leader Chandrashekhar Azad.
Actress Divya Dutta who won recognition in pre-Independence dramas like Shaheed-E-Mohabbat Boota Singh (Gurdas Mann) and Train Io Pakistan (Nirmal Pandey) also plays a key role in 23 March 1931 -- Shaheed.
