Bobby's interpretation of Shaheed Bhagat Singh is not the only one in the reckoning. There are three others in the form of Ajay Devgan's The Legend Of Bhagat Singh, Harbhajan Mann's Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Sonu Sood's Shaheed-E-Azam.
Needless to add, the Ajay Devgan starrer is Bobby's strongest rival.
Apparently, Raj Kumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol who came together in hits like Ghayal, Damini and Ghatak, decided to patch their differences and come together for a film on Bhagat Singh. Unfortunately it didn't work out since Sunny wanted to cast Bobby, whereas Santoshi was adamant about Ajay Devgan.
Their fall out resulted in two adaptations of the same.
